Teens looking for real work experience, learning valuable skills while working outside restoring and maintaining trails in City of Santa Cruz Open Spaces, this is for you! This summer program is targeted for teen employment, as part of the Public Safety Task Force recommendations. High School Students only may apply. Under direction of the Trails Specialist, assists with performing trail maintenance and resource management duties. Work will take place in City of Santa Cruz Open Spaces.
The program dates are June 10th to August 2nd, 2024 working 30 hours per week, 8am to 2:30pm Monday-Friday. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at time of hire and must be able to commit to 8 weeks and able to work at both Harvey West and DeLaveaga Park. Transportation will not be provided.
